Forty years ago, my family began cleaning carpet in the Michiana area (Northern Indiana, Southwest Michigan ). Like all new carpet cleaning businesses, we began to experiment with equipment and chemicals to find the perfect combination that would allow us to do the best job possible. In the first twenty years, we tried every pre-spray on the market. We were never completely satisfied with any of them. One night we were cleaning a restaurant carpet saturated with linseed oil and were having a great deal of difficulty. My father went out to the van and returned with a small pill bottle containing a clear liquid. He explained that my Grandfather had given it to him and insisted we try it on a hard job. Then dad continued to explain how just a few drops of these WETTING agents added to our pre-spray would make a big difference. Without much confidence, we followed Grandfathers advice. As we began to clean, we were absolutely amazed by how easily the carpet cleaned and the results were incredible!
